My not so lucky companion -
This lonely wretched heart
Where your sweet memories rest
Your thoughts still linger
Some forgotten promises echo
Your utterances still whisper
No romance or passion left
Yet it still keeps on caring for you.
In a rather whirlwind life
The wretched fellow follows
With an everlasting longing
And a never ending yearning
The last place of a rendezvous
Where a part of mine you
Will forever be a part of your me
There it still keeps on missing you.
