You Are A Story

Do not ever think
that you will be left alone
if you sit in a corner.
Sure, you will be searched out.

Stories love you.

Someone phones you up
to tell you a story.
People find you up
to tell you a story.

If nobody phones you up
some story is cooked up.

If somebody meets you eye to eye
there emerges a story.
Somebody avoids meeting your eyes,
another story is created.

Stories just walk to you.
Stories love you.

Have you ever thought,
you yourself is a story?
You are your parents' story.
This society's story.
This world's story!
