Time's Roses

"Did you pay the bills?"
"I knew you wouldn't..."
He said

"When you knew I wouldn't,
why did you ask me to?
I had meetings in the office."
She said

"Anyway, it was my foolishness."
He said
"No, my foolishness to have accepted your rose years ago"
She said

"We love you mom and dad"
The little ones said
"Did you take your medicines?"
She said

"I forgot"
He said

"My foolishness.
I should have remembered to give you.
What will happen when I leave you?"
She said.

"I think I will leave before you"
He said

"........"
She said

"Wipe your tears and take these roses...they are for you"
He said

"They are wonderful...thank you!"
She said

"Hope you are fine mom and dad...long time...no mail..."
The children said.

"This is life!"
Time's roses said.
