Yellow Rose

Millions of roses blossom
Scarlet, crimson and vermilion
Offer candyfloss to the eyes of
The onlookers and passer-byes.

A solitary yellow rose blooms
At a corner in the same garden
Oozes out a sublime fragrance of
Ever-growing friendship and peace.

The red roses attract and distract
As viewer's envy and buyer's choice
But the yellow quietly awaits only
For a connoisseur to pick and muse.
