Stone Heart

Her petal soft heart fell in love with his stone heart, And is now suffering every day, for a lifetime, She admired and worshiped him right from the start, Years pass, yet she doesn’t know what is her crime. She cries nights after nights missing his presence, Her innocent heart knows nothing but to love endlessly, The world can see purity in her love’s essence, Only he is blind to her crystal clear feelings agelessly. The way he neglects her day by day is so unbearable, That she doesn’t want to live such a sorrowful life, But he is born with a stone heart, so unalterable, That she has to go through this anguish and strife. Her dreams are tattered, her hopes have died, Her desires are wrecked, her sentiments are choked, Years after years, ages after ages, her eyes have cried, In acute loneliness, her tears are now soaked!

Obvious corollary of crying is that eyes become wet (soaked) unless expressed in a hyperbole. Since you agree that settles eyes 'soaked' or 'dried'. Perhaps, Dr Kumarendraji's intention is to say that he is 'crestfallen'.

As I can see, as usual, with your intense feelings and expression, you make many to cry, Rupradhaji.

Rupradha, in the concluding line do you mean 'her tears have now dried'? Well written poem with good flow and theme, yet it leaves me creshfallen I do not know why!!!
