Quest of Life

If life was a journey
I would have explored
Seven continents and seas
Had you been my co-traveller
Through endless space and time.

If life was a song of love
I would have created
A million tunes of sublime love
Had you been on my side
Like Sita was for Rama.

If life was a great battle
I would have conquered it
In the world for good
Had you been my charioteer
Like Krishna did it for Arjuna.

If life was a mystery
I would have solved it
For the sake of humanity
Had you been my saviour
In the quest of life till eternity.
