Theme: Time

Time, A Playmate

Time, you are my great playmate,
let us take a long walk
on the banks of the seasons;
let us start in the monsoon,
soon we shall drench each other

In autumn we shall walk on the dews,
chase the dragonflies, pluck lilies
and morning lotus in dancing pools,
in the winter we shall sit near the fire,
tell stories of adventure to each other
before sleep takes over us
and we get lost in a dreamland,
beautiful though unknown…

Then you shall spring up
onto the flowers of the spring,
look fresh with fragrance and charms
among the admiring bees
and colourful butterflies…

Finally you dawn into warm sunshine,
we shall search for shades of trees,
cool waters of the streams
and flow into the ocean as infinite as you, Oh time!

We return to where we had started our journey.
Does the journey end or we step on to a new one,
with new dreams and new songs on our lips…
Time, let us not say good bye,
with new zeal let us take off to new heights
into a new blue sky…
