Soulmate

During the journey of life
Once in a while you meet someone
Only to lose one later on
In a separation for the lifetime
But the impact is so deep and overwhelming
It affects life in entire panorama and perspective
However hard you try to forget the person
But memories to the minutest forms and details
Every incident and moment of togetherness
Keep on upsurging and haunting
And one remains your soulmate
For the rest of the lifespan.

Then there are people around
Who perforce, by will or chance
Remain in close proximity
As near relatives or friends
Become part of your daily life
You share time, energy and fortune
With them for the whole life
Yet you don't ever have with them
Any express urge, desire or feelings
To earnestly share your mind or heart
And despite living and spending together
Remain strangers during a lifespan.
