Silent Couple

There lived a couple
Who after a fight,
Spoke not a single word.
It was late in the night.

As the man
Wished to leave
For work early next
Morning, so before
Going to bed, he
Wrote out a memo,
'Wake me up at Five.'

Shame, he overslept.
And when he woke up
He found another memo,
'Wake up, it is FIVE…'
