Lonely Hearts

Thousand times He scribbled her name On his notebook and wall Yet unable to understand The tune of his heart And remained unaware What he really wanted In a relationship With her in life. Umpteen times She let her choice known While so much caring for him Yet unable to understand The beats of her heart And remained uncertain What she really wanted In a relationship With him in life. By the time The realization came That was love actually It was too late The time waits for none Things changed irreversibly Lonely hearts were miles apart And left behind was a trail Of repentance, pain and loss. So if you ever in life Come across a person You so much consider and care Be sure that she or he Is your love and soulmate And don't waste time To concede or confide love Lest it may be too late And you lose forever.
