Hope is the Key

Hope is the key to everything;
To a life of joy or suffering.
It kindles the flame to a new romance;
Emboldens us to take each new chance.

Hope illuminates our journey
Down life's lengthy road.
When absent, we shiver
At shadows, dark and cold.

Hope is the newborn baby crying;
The rooster that welcomes a Spring morning.
Hope unlocks the door to our dreams.
It is our spirit's lifeblood;

Hope energises all things.
