A man – honest, truthful, and so frail,
Whom the people of the entire country, hail.
A man, dedicated to a national cause,
And until he achieves it, would just never pause!
A man who shook, the world’s largest democracy,
And drove all the politicians, crazy!
A man who would just not budge, from his goal,
Even if he would lose, his body and soul!
A man, who is a quintessence of simplicity and non-violence,
And who could achieve great things, even with his silence!
A man who influenced, an entire nation,
And cared least for his life, creating sensation!
I pay my tribute to Anna Hazare, a living legend,
This man’s presence in India, is truly god-send.
This poem is dedicated to Shri Anna Hazare for his valiant fight in eradicating corruption in India and in formulating the Jan Lok Pal Bill.
