Through the window
In came a thought
She caressed my hair
And whispered softly
I am because you are!

I looked across the room
For meaning, guidance and solace
She kissed my head
And said coyly
I am because you are!

I scratched my head
Looked towards the window
She took my hand
And jumped out
Now we are floating
Over blue hills and red rivers
They screamed from nadir
We are because you were!
