Fear

I am not immune

to doubt or fear,

when all seemed dark

nothing made sense,

my soul cried

in fright

and begged for comfort.

Unable to explain,

confused,

I dropped my eyes

and stood still,

in total silence.

Until I found you

my friend,

the one that understood all...

Who smiled,

just held my hand,

walked with me,

never breaking

my silence,

to ask

why...
