Impartial

Calm serenity
reigns in the universe,
impartial
to humanity's
chaotic rivers
of discontent.
Hunger for power
creates weapons
that produce fear,
but diminish wisdom.
Wars develop,
some rejoice in victory,
some must accept defeat,
all mourn.
While blue sky, sun,
moon, cosmos, stars
dance above,
impartial.
