Autumn Foliage

With onset of the autumn season
Foliage turns to colors and splendor
Purple, red, yellow and orange
As it readies to wither and fall.

Like the human beings change
Their old and worn-out clothing
Plants and trees are keen to shed
Their senile and decaying foliage.
