The Gods are Angry

The gods are angry my darling,
Today is our wedding day
And you lie cold and alone
Beneath the earth.

The heavens' torrents weep for you,
Thunderclaps and lightning bolts
Rage at your demise.

This day is both a requiem of our love
And a sacred commemoration of you.
Rail oh gods! You have just cause!
This day will not pass unnoticed.
