Floaters

Floaters struggle
with my ebb and the
stunning beauty of your flow.
 
They come along
when feelings sink,
when we hold on
to a wandering log,
a passing hope,
in a blinding day.
 
We marvel at the
mystery of stumble,
we blink
when we fall,
for floaters in our eyes
weary of waiting for
the final drown.
