When I Say

When I say “I love you more than anyone else in this world”,
Just know that I mean each and every word of my line,
Am bowled over by your charm, in love my head has swirled,
And I know you trust me; in ecstasy your deer eyes shine.

When I say “I miss you”, you know I need you the most,
You are in the shrine of my heart, dwelling as my idol,
Your name I have engraved in the rocks of my life’s coast,
You know I am madly in love with you, once and for all.

When I say “I need a hug”, you know how lonely I’ve been,
Your chest is the coziest shelter where I can rest my head,
Try to hear my unspoken words; try to see what’s unseen,
I’ll always love you and I always meant every word I said!
