Beyond

Many a time I feel
Not to cling so much
To the past relationship
Which never materialized.

But then I realize
This is a bond beyond
Flesh, bone and blood
So ethereal and sublime.

A physical boundary
Can't define or curtail it
Because it's a platonic bond
Beyond age, space and time.
