A Kiss with 'Deference'

West and East
Differ by that kiss out in the open!
In the West people are kissed in public --
Heads bow without batting an eyelid.
The earth is kissed in the East with no reserve,
Both expressing their love for fellow humans -
But the latter carries more public
To be kissed, just out of reverence.

(Inspired by the picture of revered Narendra Modi bowing before Parliament.)

Seshu, Modi made a remarkable gesture by kissing the 'threshold of the Parliament', considered by him 'the temple of democracy' hitherto used to protect the scamsters!!
