For the beloved I've got,
Not less than a red rose!

I see her
And think
How kind have You been to me
That I got a beloved like her!

A red rose,
A red rose gorgeous and sparkling,
A living red rose I have
In her, my God!

It's a God-gifted rose,

Gorgeous and excellent,
Exquisitely beautiful
And of a dazzling hue,
Striking down the on-lookers,
Bowling out almost.

Break you not the loveful heart,
The heart which but it loves,
Hurt you it not,
Nor do wound you.
