Theme: Love

Is It True?

I wonder why
True love stories
Beyond age, space and time
Have to be always so tragic!

It reminds me
Of the masterpiece
O. Henry’s The Last Leaf –
“…On the old ivy vine,
 When the last one falls
 I must go, too…”

Is it true that
The union of two lovers
Signifies the physical reality
Of the natural ending of love, too?

Comment Urmil Ji, this is just one dimension of an epic topic. Personally, I have conviction it never dies though eternal seeks physical for expression. Perhaps plausible explanation would be that a 'thirst' invites more attention than 'fulfilment'.

Certainly you need not agree and thanks a lot...

Comment Jaipal ji, is it possible, can the eternal become physical and die?

Don't want to agree lest the utopian world comes crumbling down.

Thanks for all your writings, agree with your views.
