Black & White

What if we lived in a universe of Black and White?

There would be no color to confuse Love for Hate.

There would be no way to tell Blood from Tears.

There would be no colorful Mirages to Fear.

If the universe were Black and White,

Love would be Black or White.

Black would tease White into his arms.

White would dance daringly, fearless of stain.

Then together they would be Grey.

Should we not live in a universe of Black & White?
