If Only I Could

If only I could touch your heart,
Or bring a smile to your lips,
If only I could cheer you up,
Wiping away tears from your cheeks!

If only I could let you go
Thinking we were never meant to be,
If only I could dare to leave
Setting myself absolutely free!

If only I could hold you tight,
Making you feel my love for you,
If only I could show you light
Of true love, pure faith and hope!

If only I could cure your blindness
Letting you see my heart’s core,
If only I could ever make you realize,
No one on earth can love you more!
