On the reverse sky
trees in the wind
are dry waves
in empty listless sea.
 
Rooftops boil;
with shooting pain.
Rivers, veins in deadly clots
playing russian roulette.
 
Lotus holding stagnant waters,
seeping or weeping but
not evaporating
from the ponds of time.
 
My shade of grief
comes out green
through table glass and
upright windowpane.
