Our time will come
When once again,
You and I will hum
Our song in the rain.

We'll dance once more,
You holding me tight,
To our favorite score,
Well past midnight.

We'll swing and sway,
And have a great time;
You'll make my day
So sweet and sublime.

I'll feel your heartbeat
Reverberating in me,
Generating intense heat
That on fire I'll be.

I'll look into your eyes
To see your soul,
And I'll realize:
Only you make me whole.
