Beautifying Mumbai

Flowers are springing up,
Along arterial roads
That run past the coastline.

Admiration is building up -
With pedestrians and drivers
Marveling at the fresh new look.

They slow down, to breathe in
The colours and beauty
Of maximum city.

Residents must now chip in too,
As should the many street vendors -
By not littering the sidewalks.

Just a little more effort
And the Swachh Mumbai dream
Will be a reality!
