Serpent and Moonlight

Milk-washed moon peers through my bedroom window
grins flashing his crooked teeth
Glitters on my face
debauched moonlight

Serpent inside me uncoils to fly over abyss
hollow too vast to fill with fluid moonlight
form too thin to quench thirst unleashed by loosened grip

As for me
I had preferred occasional stretch of wings
to bear together
serpent and moonlight
