Theme: Life

Sand Dunes of the Infinite

In the sand dunes of the infinite

cries an eternal quest
of dying life
in a frantic search
of death,
enlivened?

The death of the passion
and the lust for more and more
that is long lurking
in him

The traveler, fatigued
drowsing in the hazy maze
of days' darkness,
fazed by blinding lights
of nights

Easily egged on
by his needless greed
he tries to escape
from pillar to post
like a feeble felon, fallen;
he finally falls,
bogged down,
dogged by his restless mind,
seeking celestial solace
for his Self -
dreary, sulky, sullen soul...!
