A Painting In The Sky

A painting in the sky, The colors of dawn - They stop my yawn, And make me high. I open my eyes And savor the scene - So splendid and serene, Moments before sunrise. Changing with time, And changing so fast, The colors won't last - They're truly sublime. A work of art, I stand still And have my fill - It enchants my heart. I thank the artist who Is busy unfolding The scene I'm beholding - Spectacular is my view.
