Intolerance

Thanks to the wisdom and talent
Of politicians and media at large
These days the wind of intolerance
In the country, is furious and fast.

Revered authors, actors and artists
Finding self flabbergast and aghast
Return their symbols of achievement
Back to the federal government so fast.

I too wish to join the elite bandwagon
So I pray if life in anger and protest
Could return my childhood dreams
Besides the teenage innocence last.
