Bande mataram

A new dawn,
A new mood of celebration
And patriotism.

Saluting the flag
I too want to be a soldier,
But bad blood with Pakistan want I not
Which but it understands it not.

Whether Pakistan's soldiers dying
Or that of India,
Soldiers soldiers
The sons of some father and mother.

Actually the small boys and girls
Inspire us
With their mood of jubilation.
