Lighting Lamps of Love during Diwali!

Let's light the lamps of love, care and concern with generosity.
Diwali brings in happiness with celebrations during festivity.
Let us help the poor by buying their beautiful
Hand-crafted cards and lanterns full of creativity.

People spend on sweets, delicacies, clothes and crackers.
Why not extend a bit of help to the beggars?
The fortunate show off their prosperity
By lighting dazzling bulbs of high intensity.
Hope they can notice that some unfortunate live without electricity.
Can we light lamps of hope and love and show some sympathy?

Save the humans and the non-human world with sensibility
Hope we don’t add to the pollution and forget our responsibilities.
Eco-friendly celebrations can be full of contentment with solidarity.
Hope you all enjoy this Diwali with humility!
Happy Diwali to all and may you be blessed by the divine deity!
