Pure white lotus hand emerges from its muddy pond Finger petals spread wide Reach into the sacred night The sun does not shine here Nor moon nor stars This is a sacred light the light of sat-chit-ananda Silence is the ocean here so deep it demolishes all sound Even Om is silent here Thought rests in blissful quiet No senses perceive eternal night sense objects all have vanished Atman has awakened Being has become The lotus bathes in blissful peace Nothing to disturb it now Awareness of existence is the divine and only Truth (Inspired by Kathopanishad)
