Duplicity

Those dreams
we dare not dream

Do they lie unlamented
in some forsaken tomb?

Or do they rot
like some forgotten fruit?

Perhaps they mock at us
as we gloat in hypocrisy

Someday they will boomerang
to explode myths of morality.
