It doesn't get
any better than this
amplified through the air

as reminiscences of times past
verified staccato grimaces
beam to the beat

With a person you love,
drink in your hand,
reading Poetry

as glimmers of sunlight
create a luscious tapestry
enticing, appeal

to senses mythological
bound by stories,
legends grappling to overcome

counterfeit selves
amidst seductive rays
bouncing off remembrances

adjusting to heights
of the marvelous.
