Fever catches fancies

In its tight grip,
Imagination is tied to bed,
The nose, running, makes noises,
Tear ducts let water flow
Side by side.

Temperature blazes feelings,
Almost roasted!
Senses seem senseless
In the ailing body
As silence in deep darkness
Stares at me...
