Want of Peace

Poor and oppressed People
with a wish to dwell
Suffer their whole life
like in a dark iron cell.

Hunger and thirst
torment them day and night
Life is like a Sea bed
untouched by Sunlight.

Illness and Violence
have wrapped the whole earth
Feelings and compassion
have lost their worth.

All merciless human beings
nurturing the feelings unwell
Without kindness and Love
this world is nothing but hell.

Save thee 'O' God
humane feelings of all men
Bless this world
with the Peace of heaven.
