or the illusion of you
in my mind…?

Was it you
that came to me…
last night…
with bouquets…
of bright red geraniums…

How did you know
I love them the best…?
I never mentioned it…
never told you…
How did you know…?

Salty smell of geraniums…
fills me up…
you somehow
recede
to the background…
Why…?

As if you came
just to awaken
the deep desires
and when you saw
a glimpse of them…
you went away…

Why?
I wonder…

You remain
a mystery to me still…

When will I know you?
Will I ever know you?
