Sounds of Silence

There is so much that is left unsaid,
so much left unheard....

The tears of the eyes, the cries of the heart
No reason, no explanation,
Nothing left except the imagination

The foolish heart
tearing the soul apart

Longing for -
the touch in the hand,
the look in the eye,
the hand of affection

Is it stupid emotion?

The deaf ears,
(Feelings don't speak)
long for the solace of words,

Where is the love gone?
