Tonight

Tonight I close my eyes
What do I see?
Tonight I am as cold as ice
What do I feel?
I see somebody
I feel your body
Giving me the warmth I need
Slowly I plant my seed
In the ninth month
I will be shouting with my mouth
"I am a father!"
No doubt you will be a lovely mother.
Tonight it is this dream I will have
Every night it is this dream I have always had
It is a dream to fulfill
It is a dream so supreme
A dream that will always be part of me.

The woman who inspired me to write these poems is now my my wife today. Some week and half ago we officially married! indeed am now a father and she a mother to our three year old daughter. She continues to be a great source of inspiration to me in a different but huge way.
