The Soul in the Train

The train drills through the silence
Of that lonely bridge o'er that lonely river
The mute birds who waited there in patience,
Again finds the sudden urge to fly and clatter.

The wildernesses fade in the lazy horizon
The gloaming smiles through the veils of clouds,
The charm of the nature waits on the leaves shunning
Before it could blossom out of the moonlit shrouds!

Some deserted soul stares at the thirsty sands
Of the river threading in some hummock's neck
The wind increases its speed
o'er the dusty Western lands
The storm crawls o'er the drooping leaves for its beck!

With the winds that blew,
the birds that flew, went the crew
Of the emotions of the deserted soul in paradise
Where the storms were few,
peace did grew, love like a dew
Bloomed; the train gorged past,
with the news of a demise!
