The Universe Of My Being

Encircling
the universe
of my being,
golden galaxies dance,
with each gracious step
they bring to me
the freshness
of a new
intriguing world.

Sad songs
fallen silent,
new music springs
from nature's soul

I am thirsty
for laughter,
and silver pathways
made of soft silk
and hope.

Crystalline waters
nurturing the hearth,
new flowers sprouting
in the fields,
and the soles of my feet
caressed by dew.
