fell on the earth?
Who can tell
when the first bud
blossomed on the plant?

To suck honey
who has seen
the first butterfly?
Can anyone tell
the first star
to twinkle in the sky?

Can anyone tell
the first chipmunk
to hide its nut in the grass?
Has anyone seen
the first lightning
in the lips of the clouds to flash?

Nobody ...

But I remember
seeing her enchanting face
when my heart first leapt,
I shall not tell anyone.
