Child Labor

We are flowers
We are laurels
We are the future of our country.

All of us are same
Still there is a distinction
Probably because of birth and name.

Some go to school
And receive education
But some have themselves
Become the topics of essays and fiction.

'How can we go to school?'
They say, 'We have to work.'
This has made the difference
This has brought the fork.

Once I got some free books.
But Ma said 'Don't take!
People are real crooks!

If you read,
Then who will feed
And help us in need?

You are my child
You don't study.
Just work wild
And make money."

Years passed and now
That I have grown
I have a right to frown.
I lost my childhood days
But now I'll not let
Anyone hinder with my ways.

Child Labor is the greatest sin.
Fight, thou must against it fight.
Let every child study
Because it is his right.
