Rainbow

Dark sky threatens
dark alley frightens
dark nights scary
dreadful, indeed, darkness!

Rama, Krishna, Nila, Yamuna the river
dark as Yama , but not intimidating.
lovable all despite colour…
Serena, Pele, Mandela across continents!

Great migration from South to North
shackles broken, slavery ended,
jazzy breeze, open avenues, poetic voices on the rise…
move one should, from darkness to light!

East or West, South or North
upward mobility, utopian agenda,
utilitarian eyes look for light…
course matters, not the source!

Showery sky, skidding kids,
bursting bubbles in little puddles,
flowing nectar shows the way…
life to blossom like rainbow!
