Aila

Small baby in arms
In the Aila struck village
Giggled in his sleep

Butterfly

Aimless butterfly
In a jam packed city bus
Taking a free ride

Caterpillar

In search of the sky
Up a tall eucalyptus
Caterpillar creeps

Ephemeral

Her lovely young face
And this freshly blossomed rose --
Pity, both must fade
