  Look
How those twigs burn in unison
Throwing up fiery flames
To turn into suffocating embers
Hot glowing smoldering fragments

My emotions likewise
Blow hot and cold
Producing crackling sound
A la falling monuments
In a flimsy dream

The ash would remain, for me
To stare at the heap and wait
For the phoenix to rise again!
