Sojourning Cosmologies

Grass 2.jpg
Where is the silence of the moon?
The lost story of our flaming birth?

Where are all those who
Gave their best to our early contentment?

Gone is the sparkle, the freshness,
The fickle anxiety of yesterday.

Exhausted like the crazy Greeks
We fly against the sun,

Wanting a little of something
That was anyway never ours,

Then we leave the land of our birth
In a desperate dream

And through a long sojourn
In another land

We find ego replacements
To our lunar and solar histories.
